Battery Switch On or Off?

Am I suppose to have my battery switch on or off when I am plugged in to 30 amp shore power?

On.

Whether you are plugged in to shore power or not, many of the RV electricals always run on the 12 volt system, such as water pump, lights, vent fan(s), and possibly refrigerator controller, thermostat, entertainment system, etc. The only time you’d want the battery switch off might be for storage, or when servicing 12 volt equipment.

Furnace Question

When my furnace reaches the temperature set point it shuts down but my overhead ducts continue to blow air. I do have floors vents which at that point shut off. How do I prevent the A/c ducts from blowing? That system comes on when the furnace calls for heat.
