Vibe 25 Rk
I hope you’ll like the new Vibe. We have had it one year and camped both at campgrounds with limited hookup and full hookup. Full hookup is nice to take advantage of what I consider a good size bath and shower for a camper. We tend to cook on a grill mostly however I do appreciate the outside cooktop for making breakfast to keep bacon smell outside. We added 6v golf cart batteries and bought a Cummings Onan P2500i generator for boondocking. I don’t think you can last more than a day on a standard 12v deep cycle battery - the 12v fridge is pretty hard on the batteries however it works great. The P2500i will run the air sometimes but won’t start it consistently. We seldom use air however if you do boondock and need air it’s probably best to go with a bigger generator. The Coleman A/C works great and the ducted cooling and heating is excellent.
The mods we made were: screens over all intake and exhaust ports to keep out bugs, an air max deflector over the fan - a fan upgrade in the bath would be worthwhile, 2” frame mounted hitch for a bike rack and we had the dealer apply paint and carpet/upholstery sealant. I also added carpet and some things to help organize the cargo hold. It’s decent size although don’t like shuffling through to find what I need. Also the smaller access door on the drivers side is a little frustrating. I also noticed the locks coming loose so I took them all apart and added loc-tite. We also bought Anderson levelers - they work great and Fasmov solid rubber chocs. A voltmeter might be in order this year - the lights don’t really tell you much. Have fun!
