371a13 rogue armored solar ready

So I have a 2020 rogue armored 371a13 and it said that it was solar ready. It has a couple 10 ga wires coming out near the battery box that say solar on them. I assumed these lead to the roof and there would be an mc4 connector box but there's nothing there. Does anyone know where these wires lead to?

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. More then likely the wires lead to where a solar controller would be mounted. check cargo compartments and your cabinets you may find them.

Thanks for replying I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find a location. Contacting forest river has been tough and the dealer has been zero help. On the wires they say solar panel but there are no outside jacks like go power or zamp. I was convinced they lead to the roof but nothing there either.

Alright so I just heard from forest river. I guess they coil the wires above the kitchen fan vent. I was advised to remove the fan cover and I should see the wires. This is good news.

The 371 is a good unit but there are a few things to consider. If you plan to haul a 2k lb side by side it's probably not the best pick. I think ours has around 3900lbs of cargo capacity and we are very close if not maxed out. The 7k lbs axles should be upgraded to 8k but If you plan to haul dirt bikes or quads or basically anything under 1000lbs it's perfect. We use our trailer every weekend and have had zero problems with anything except one interior LED light. The new 2021 has made a few key updates that I really like but the price has risen 10k at the dealer that I originally purchased from in April of this year.

I have the same unit and when going through the walkthrough he showed me the location of where the solar panel controller goes. You need to cut into the wall to access the wires. I though this sounded a bit crazy but there is a sticker located where you would make the cut and then install the controller in that location.
