A lot more information is needed like model and type of light. A photo would also help.

x2 on a picture. Some of the tiny bulbs are a little tricky to get out.

Suggestion: If you are replacing any incandescent light bulb, do so with a equivalent LED bulb. Yes a tad more expensive but your power draw will be markedly less and you will probably never have to replace that light bulb again!

A picture would help. Let us assume the lens is off. If it is a bulb and not a led assym. then the bulb should pull out...also assuming it is a T-3 wedge based bulb. You know the bulbs get hot and kinda melt/solder in to the base. One may have to wiggle back and forth to get free. Careful. Some of the fixtures have sharp spots.

... or maybe it's the switch. OR sometimes there are two switches in series - one on the wall and one on the fixture. If either are off, the fixture is off.

Hi welcome to the forest river forum. Most likely the light that has failed is a led fixture. There is no bulb to replace as it is a light fixture that has to be replaced with a new one. No light bulb that can be replace. You did not say how old the trailer is but if it is new the dealer will replace it under warranty. If you are handy they are not hard to replace your self. I just call the dealer up and have them order a new light replacement from FR when it come in I take the old light in for warranty get the replacement light and wire/install new one. Or you can take it to dealer to have them replace it,
I have had 5 of the recessed led light fixtures fail in my 2015 trailer so far.
This puts me just a little bit shy of half the recessed ceiling lights in the trailer that have failed in the past 2 years. New lights will cost me less than $7.00 from now on as I am out of warranty now.

Hope This Helps Tim

Those bulbs simply pull out and push back in.

Here is what the bulb looks like once you get it out.

I would also suggest you look for a 'second' switch on a wall or control panel that remotely controls the light.

OK you have a standard 12 volt light bulb. Both light bulb don't work? Is This the only light that dose not work? Is the trailer plugged in to a 110 volt power outlet to keep the battery charged? If the trailer is plugged in and other light work in the trailer you may have a fuse or a breaker that has failed or tripped. The fuse/breakers are located behind a metal panel that is located in most trailer at floor level near the kitchen. I have had one of the light bulbs fail and short out which blew the fuse. If the light bulbs have failed you can up grade them to led bulbs which use much less electricity and produce very little heat.

Hope This Helps Tim

How to change a Light bulb

There are no user replaceable bulbs available on modern campers. Manufacturers and dealers highly recommend purchasing a new travel trailer or motor coach when bulbs begin to burn out.

OK ????????????? If you really believe this I know of some land for sale just west of Holland State park in Michigan. Very quiet not to meany neighbors small water problem but can be fixed. Water frontage on lake Michigan goes for about 1,000,000. $ for 100 foot of frontage. He told me that it is for sale for 500,000 $. Sounds like a bargain to me. :roflb lack:
