Kayak Rack for Garage

Recently built a kayak rack for the garage of my 25V. Wanted something light that I could take out of my garage, once I got to my destination, and use to store the kayaks at the campsite. Decided to build it out of PVC and I used this design to build it: My $100 DIY PVC Kayak Rack | Red is a Flavor. Fits the garage area well and I secure it with ratchet straps attached to the floor D-rings. Secured the kayaks to the rack through the side handles of the kayaks with ratchet straps. The top bin is going to be a tight fit, so I will probably just store paddles and gear here.

It’s amazing what can be built with PVC pipes. We made a horse coral with nine six foot wide PVC panels. Light weight and stores easily inside the trailer. Been using it for years.

We made an outdoor arena - 60x100 ft - used pound in fence posts, slipped PVC over and made the horizontal two row sections with T fittings - used a gate at one end and ran electric fence wire on inside to keep horses from pushing on it - we could keep them out there all day - had 4 at one time

Kayak hauling

I put my kayak trailer with 4 kayaks and 2 bicycles inside my WolfPack toyhauler. They ride inside out of the wind and weather safely. Makes transporting, moving to & from the water easier plus less moving of the kayaks loading & unloading. I use the trailer winch, to pull the trailer up slowly into the hauler, then reverse the winch to slowly allow the trailer to roll back out. Simple operation that I can actually do by myself if I had to, trailer straps down using the D-rings in the floor.

I want to do something like this but to hold bicycles instead. When I have my Harley in the back I need a way to keep the bicycles upright and away from the motorcycle.
