Can it be spring soon?
We took a little trip to visit our seasonal site, just making sure all looked good. Sure can't wait to move in for the summer! We recently crawled out of the deep freeze here in Saskatchewan (lows of -30F/-35C, now up above freezing) so we're all itching for camping season. It was a gorgeous day to be out, and we saw a lot of people out ice fishing on the lake. A small spot of bare ground on the sunny side of the trailer was even a bit muddy! Haha!
This winter is a bit better in some ways as we have a lot more snow, which we desperately need for soil moisture. Summer brought a lot of fire bans the last few years, and one lasted six weeks in our park last year. And being a cattle farmer, it's really going to ease my stress level to see some good spring grass! But with winter showing up about November 10 and sticking right since then, it's time to bring on spring!
