The last few times I did ride/with the sheriff dept. we got booted out of the gated communities. And our 55+ resort is no different.

Like the OP, once the truck is parked, the golf car is the transportation for us and our two kids. Plus when her elderly family or my cousins come to visit I pick them up from the bus depot. This picture is what started it all, Fort Wilderness.

You can barely make it out behind the 5er in the picture above but on a 5x10 utility trailer.

Actually legal in most states, as long as the first trailer is a fifth wheel.

I'm not getting into all the details here, but travelling upon the Interstates it is legal independent of the state.
This all been hashed out in other threads. This isn't the place.

Had I the cover for my pu I would have bought that one as it's like a mini golf cart and will handle 4 people. Later RJD

Except you forgot one thing length. Most states have legal limits. Later RJD

I didn't forget it at all & that is why the tag-a-long is what it is. I'm at 64'11" total length. The rig is under the common 65' limit. And again, you're refering to STATE laws, I spoke of the Interstate where I am legal.

That sounds like our story we fell in love at Fort Wilderness. Started with an old golf cart and I fixed it all up and bought the camper. I will have to send some pics of the golf cart when I get home
