Wow ... where is this ... USA? We pay $3000 (incl tax) for a fully serviced, beautiful, extra large treed lot ... includes hydro; ontario canada. Very glad we have it ... due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, the availability of a campsite in my home province is at a premium from may to September...
Wishing you all the best in your search.

We started seasonal in 2006, it was $2500 plus electricity for the season. It went up a little almost every year. We stopped seasonal 10 years later when they said it was going up to $5500 per season plus electricity. This place is nothing special by any means. They installed cable themselves one year and that was the excuse for going up that year. The picture quality was terrible. I hardly ever used it. A lot of seasonal left that year. I’m in southeast Massachusetts, most campgrounds around here are about the same price. New Hampshire is between $2-3000 per season depending on location. I don’t want to drive that far every weekend

Same here in Saskatchewan, nightly camping is very tough to book anything during weekends (long or not). We got into a private permanent seasonal in 2019 and was perfect timing. $3500+GST per year and we pay our own power and can develop the site to our liking, within set parameters of course.

Our goal is to open up the trailer and get ready for overnights on May 1 (12 days!!!). Water (potable) won't be on until closer to May 20 as we're located inside a provincial park and use their water treatment centre. Which is fine, we can haul water for drinking & flushing until then.

Month

I just paid $950 for a month (plus elec) on the beach in Port Aransas Texas. My first foray into something longer than a few days. Was higher because it included the week of Memorial Day.

I started seasonal camping in 2006, $2500, 6 months, plus electricity. I had to cut my own grass. I left in 2015 when they were going up to $5500. A lot of people put “for sale” signs on their RV’s. This place was nothing fancy by any means, but that is the going rate around here. If you want a site on the Cape Cod Canal there is a waiting list & it’s usually about $2000 more per season

If you are at "On the Beach" we spent a great winter there. not a bad price for what we got.

We are at Pioneer RV. It has a boardwalk to the beach.

You can literally setup on the beach there. A mutual acquaintance did so one time and misjudged the high tide line! He woke up to water inside!

Wow, I started this thread 5 years ago now and the CG I mentioned in the first post is finally, just now, raising their seasonal price by $300.

Still a pretty good deal vs. the prices of the other CGs in the area.

Well I was going to be a comic... Looking at these prices I'm

Our permanent site cost us $6500, monthly electric, and the property tax. It came with a dilapidated house and 2 car garage.

I just wanted to add that if you look at the consumer price indices for any stated time period and compare the creep in campground prices over time there is probably parity.

And for must RV owners our income has grown proportionally to the CPI. So I am thinking that on whole nothing has really changed.
