We have a seasonal site in northeastern CT. This will be our 3rd season at the same campground, same spot with no plans to go anywhere else. We have a nice wooded corner lot at the back of the park that overlooks the pond. In the early spring and late fall we get beautiful views of the sunset. We consider our camper our "summer home" (just signed the paperwork tonight on our upgrade - 2013 Lacrosse 327 RES) ... like some others have said, we look forward to heading down to the campground friday night after a stressful work week. We both ride motorcycles too, so it's nice being able to ride the bikes down instead of choosing between our summer hobbies.

Yup, album it up. Very nice looking camper! Gotta love the huge fridge and dinette. We have the same stools in our Sabre. I didn't think they would be to comfortable but they are.

Thank you, Wiscampsin. We're looking forward to filling up the fridge with coronas Had the option for the table and chairs, but for us the dinette seems the better 'value' ... comfortable, more storage, and an extra sleep space.

Moving

We're moving from one site to another. It's a lot of work!!
I thought I'd post pics of our progress. Here's the first three. Pics of my new back yard at the CG. We chose this new spot when it became available because of it being at a wide open end. Lots of area to walk/play and decent view.
The boats in winter storage not included. LOL. Over the small hill looking right is the golf course which is easily accessible from my new back yard also.

update: the move is done !..
took me 2 days, but all is in place except my shed. moved the 8'X15" deck and the porch. according to campground regs. i had to modify my porch, but it worked out ok. i completed hooking up the sewer lines reusing most of the 3" pvc pipe from the old location. just had to modify that a little. next weekend, we'll move the shed and do a little outdoor decorating. now,i am ready to party !

moving the deck sled

Here's pics of moving the 10' x 30' deck, converted to a sled, and pulled by a truck! Now to level it. Should be easy with 36 or so posts. Np!
Getting crabby, sorry, working in cold and high winds every day.

Thanks for the udpate. Nice to see your progress. Looking at the pic of your deck being moved reminds me of when I was a kid they moved a house from one side of town to the other. School and business' closed for the event and townspeople lined both sides of main street like it was a parade watching the house crawl past.

Yeah, It's not every day you see a house moving!
One could say that day, "House it going?" "It's going great, TY!"
LOL

boy,i bet you are glad that move is done....i know i;m getting too old to be hauling decks and sheds from one site to another. plus i could hire someone to do it,but i hate to spend any money if i don't have to. i still have to move my shed so i think i am simply going to take it apart and reassemble it at the new site,(it a 6'X8' plastic shed.) after all is in place i will then bring down the 2 mopeds and the boat and just enjoy the H*ll out of the the upcoming season !

seasonal camping

Less than a month now until the camping season begins! We are looking forward to being back in a place we truly love. It's a place for us to get away and relax every weekend. Some of our favorite memories each year are of times spent at camp. Can't wait!
