Come to New York. We do yearly fees in the form of taxes. Trust me, everything is not bigger in Texas.

Anyone closed up? Noticed a campground near ours that closed up on 10-1-2020. Wondered if anyone else is closed or already knows when they are closing for the year.

Our contracts (that we didn't even sign this year) only run through 10/15. So we had a lot of people at our CG close up this past weekend or even the weekend before. We brought home a bunch of our stuff last weekend and plan on closing everything up this weekend. We aren't even staying overnight. Just going down on Saturday, closing up and heading back home.

We had originally planned on staying the whole weekend but it's likely there will be hardly anyone there and there certainly won't be anything to do. Much like this entire season...

We've tried to convince management that they should have weekend activities past Labor Day in "regular" seasons to drive in more business but they just won't listen.

Closed up today. Potable was shut off early in the week but we had a tank of fresh onboard. Winterized, cleaned and hauled a load of perishables and liquids home. Countdown is on until May 1st when we typically open up to prep for the season.

Closed up on Sunday. End of our 7th seasonal season. Still loving having a seasonal site. Looking forward to season number 8.

Most trailers at our park are winterized by the park people. It takes me an hour to empty the hot water heater, connect the air compressor to blow the trailer out, then add the -75 pink stuff. Park people don't blow the trailers out and I don't agree with them.

Our park is open 365. We may visit and stay over on warm weekends in November. We bring water to flush toilet and wash hands.

I know this is an old thread, but I could not pass up the opportunity to show my deck off.

Wow, looks amazing! The deck is such a good idea, I think I have to consider this for our site as well...

Buttonwood Campground in Central PA. About 75 seasonal sites and 175 transient. Seasonal campers are great. Everyone gets along well.

Beautiful site!

Merry Christmas to all. Three months or around 12 weeks until we visit our seasonal site for the first time in 2021. Eighth year for us being seasonal.

8 weeks and some members of our WI campground will start to open for the year. We will certainly visit out camper in the coming weeks but we are never one of the first to turn the water on for the year.

A few years back, each weekend in March was warm and dry, we visited and stayed overnight three time. April was cold and wet, we didn't open for the year until May.

Welcome to the 2021 camping season!

I think winter might be finally over in Saskatchewan! The weekend was great and we opened up and set up at our seasonal site at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. It's sure nice to be back!

Beautiful RV and deck. Looks like a nice place to sit and enjoy an adult beverage.
