Not my site. This is an example of how some seasonals can go overboard.

The Mrs wanted to do away with the corral looking railings as she called so I changed them out to round metal. Also added a fire Pit this year. Now sheís taking about getting a Park Model. Just when I thought I was done. Click image for larger version

I really like the look of your round metal railings! Oh, and buy the way, we're never done. they're always going to find something else .

I went full time in my 5'ver last January and did so for 6 months...

While chillin' in an RV Resort in Yuma, Arizona I found a park model that I just couldn't resist...and bought it!

It is quite hot here (110.5 out on my porch right now), but the AC in this park model is much better than blacking out all of the windows of my 5'ver with foil boards and still sweating it out with my 13.5K Dometic!

The whole western US of A is nothing but hot right now...and I love it out here!

At least my 5'ver is now once again my camper...not my home!

We traded a destination trailer for a Park Model and enjoy the Park Model way more.
  • It's more like a house, built mostly with house style materials. When something breaks, a trip to home depot is usually all that's needed, not a trip to an RV store for an RV part.
  • Way better insulated and skirted. March and November camping in my area is no big deal.
  • Ceiling height in most of our Park Model is 13'. Not going to happen in most RVs.
  • We have a bedroom and loft. King bed upstairs and queen down. Also a pull out couch.
  • Although we have a belly air conditioner, the Park Model is mostly cooled by a slide-in unit. If it breaks, no big deal or expense to fix.
  • The Park model has wheels on it should we ever need to move. I get it, campgrounds change.

Hello from north of the boarder. Love the pictures of the seasonal sites. This is our 5th year at our seasonal location after spending many years of setting up our 28' Dutchman at different campgrounds.
We are absolutely hooked on seasonal camping and decided to up grade to a CC 40Cl this year. We just finished our deck and added some multi colored led lights just for fun.Click image for larger version

Thank you. Took my wife and I about two weeks to build the deck this summer. It's been great for entertaining.

We only have 2 weeks left in the season but our deck is finally finished. Putting up the railings was the last step.

Hopefully we'll be able to enjoy it more next year.

Lots of square footage on that deck! Great space to have a beer, I'm sure.
