Some very nice pictures of great RVs and the very nice seasonal sites Do your RVs set here all year after the season closes? Or do you take them home when the season closes?

Ours sits on our site all year long. Although we try to visit it in the off-season at least once a month just to check on it.

We take ours home off-season as our seasonal riverfront site can flood...☹️

Yes it has flooded during and off-season but if it is home in the driveway, the flood does not worry us as much....we just know we have some site cleanup

During season floods are a real downer but we have been on same site for 15 years so there is more great reason to stay and not be scared away by a rare flood...it doesntít get high enough to get inside camper, just leaves a mess in the yard and on the patio 🤪

New Seasonal Space

Our favorite campground bought the property next to it and expanded to 10 new spaces. We were lucky enough to get one. It's nicely wooded on a lake.

So, last year, we bought a giant new Wildwood trailer and our dealer set it up. Then, I had someone build me a two-level deck with railings and gates for the dogs.

I had Old Hickory Sheds custom build me a shed that would serve also as my golf-cart garage. I needed tall doors because I had a custom golf cart built as well. It's taller than a normal garage door. Had it delivered to the site and built a ramp.

We are on a lake, so I had to buy a new pontoon. We rent dock space and bought a pontoon lift (electric/solar) with canopy to protect it at the dock.
So now, we can hop on the golf cart, ride down to the dock. Hit the button and lower the pontoon to the water and take off anytime we like. The lake is chained up with about 7 other lakes to explore/fish/tube/whatever. Never run out of new scenery.

One season in now and we really love it. We had a seasonal a few years ago, but sold it off to travel. Now, we do both.

Anyway, here are some pics.

Been away for awhile but I'd like to resurrect this old thread.

Closed our seasonal site for the sixth year in early October. Miss it already. Anyone have 2019 pictures to share?

Seasonal Site Pictures

We closed ours up also in early October. This was our 3rd year being seasonals. We made some changes to our deck railings and were able to sit back and finally enjoy it.Click image for larger version

Nice looking spot! Great grass.

The new deck railing for keeping a dog inside? Always enjoy camping around people with their dog(s) under control and not wandering around loose bothering everyone.

Our unit will sit on the site all year long, very few units are pulled home for the off-season. We're up every month to check on it thru the fall-spring. And if weather cooperates, maybe we'll even have a lunch on the deck sometime.

Bruce...

New deck railing because the Mrs thought the ones I installed when I built the deck looked like a cattle corral. It was a fast cheap fix to keep the dog in. She likes the look of the metal spindles, so to keep her happy I changed them. The dog loves sunny herself out on the deck and itís great not having to keep her on a long leash. The deck is 14x24. Thanks! Itís come along way in just a couple years. Just wish we had a few trees. We face the south so the sun beats down on us all summer long. Iím thankful we have 2 A/C units as they get a workout in the summer.

We have those exact same spindles.

We also have a white bucket like that that a camping friend made for us. Do you have a light in it too?

We get a lot of compliments on the spindles with people driving by on golf cart rides! They do look way better then what we had but I wonít ever tell that to the little women. Lol.

Thatís cool on the bucket. We do have light in it to light it at night.

Absolutely loving the new adventure of building our little Oasis! Just got moved in at the begining of August, so far we installed a 13x15 steel gazebo and build an outdoor fireplace. We have plans for year 2 to build a deck (8x24) and would like to find a golf cart over the winter. It was sad to winterize and closed it all up, but we're already looking forward to spring!

IF you will follow the step-by-step instructions in post #7 of the following standard ďHow-toĒ thread, pics can be added. Other attempts/guesses probably wonít work. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...sics-6778.html

Thinking of visiting our seasonal site this weekend. Bring water for toilet, coffee, washing hands. Re-winterize toilet and vanity before we leave. One of the benefits of a seasonal site.

Could just grab a few jugs of antifreeze to use in place of water for the toilet? Eliminate the rewinterizing.
