Rockwood 2006 RV for sale, in good condition. We purchased it last November, 2023, but it does not fit our needs. It has been in place on our property since the time of purchase, and was only used occasionally as a place for quiet prayer.
The previous owner, an engineer, has made several upgrades to the existing model there is a larger microwave, a full sized king mattress in the Master Bedroom, and an upgraded sound system for the entertainment center.
This camper sleeps 6, has a roomy refrigerator/freezer, stove and oven, microwave, and galley with 2 sinks.
There is a shower, toilet and a sink with an ample mirror, but no washer/dryer on board.
There are 2 slides, one on each side, which expand to provide the dining and recreational area on one side, and a second very roomy bed on the other, with a swing out bunk bed above it. Both the couch and the seating in the dinette fold out to become extra beds.
There are 3 holding tanks black 30 gallons; gray 60 gallons; galley gray 40 gallons . We had the holding tanks professionally cleaned, and all the tank indicators are now correct and fully functional. There is an additional special feature with regard to the holding tanks: this camper comes equipped with an under carriage heating system that keeps the tanks warm in the winter, preventing freezing.
The freshwater tank capacity is 36 gallons. A water filtration system has been added by the previous owner, which aids in the provision of potable water.
The two 30 gallon LP tanks, mounted on the front of the camper behind the tow hitch assembly, power the water heater and furnace, as needed. The refrigerator runs by electricity, but in a power outage, automatically switches to the LP tanks.
There is onboard air conditioning, but this requires a 220 service. Vents and fans are also featured.
We will include a number of items we purchased in our effort to find the best method in our circumstances for cleaning out the tanks. There is a brand new honey wagon, never used, a 300 value, as well as a black water 5/8" garden hose and brand new macerator pump that we found was the easiest way to clean out. There are two 3" wide sewer hoses stored in the back bumper, that connect to standard RV dumping facilities.
We were never able to locate the VIN, and it is not listed on the previous sales records.
There is no odometer.
The previous owner wintered it over in a storage unit, so it has no tarp or cover, and there were never any of the roll out awnings installed. Last winter was mild, and the RV suffered no weathering in our back yard.
