I give up, what's a "Camping Membership" (note the capitalization)? I camp all the time without one.

Thousand Trails is one of the largest. Then there is Coast to Coast, and probably many others that I don't know about.

We "hope" to travel about 7-9 months a year, and not being rich, a Campground Membership will save us money.

Maybe IF you can find an empty site. These sell at high discounts like time-shares once folks experience all the problems and find the sites pretty dismal.

We’ve really enjoy Thousand Trails parks. We used them for 4 years before going fulltime and then all 5 years of us fulltiming. They have saved us a ton of money over the years.

See if this article helps:

In it is contact information for my buddy who is a sales rep for TT. Contact him with questions - he’s a straight shooter and isn’t pushy.

As others have said, you need to find one that has campgrounds in the areas you are going and hope that they have slots available.

From talking to others who travel almost full time, they save money by arranging to camp two weeks or a month in one campground. Most campgrounds offer discounts if you stay more than a couple of days.

Do you qualify for a National Park Senior pass?

I would camp for a while and make sure that you want or need one. It may or may not save you money. What if you decide camping is not what you want to do?
