We are pretty good on that. The driveway is kinda downhill showing sag in the back. On level ground all is good.
I have about 900 lbs of payload left on the truck.

Yup. It’s a beauty. However,
Big trailers need big trucks.

Now if we had somewhere to go! But i hope this goes away and everybody can get back to the new normal.

With the truck rating of 21,000 lbs and 3500 lbs of payload i am good on truck. We are well under that at 16,200 lbs.

Thanks! We are looking forward to enjoying it!Click image for larger version

So far about 4-5 things.

the major one is no brakes. i had it delievered as i bought it from Couches Rv world in ohio.

the brake line was left off at the rear disc brake. it wasnt ever connected at all. the brake line was has a compression fitting and it was never squashed down.

so it got pulled from the factory to ohio, then from ohio to nc without brakes.

i have them fixed now and bleed up.

[QUOTE=Roberte52;2303850]X2[/SPECIFICATIONS

Hitch Weight:3084 lb.GVWR: 19084 lb.UVW 16292 lb.CCC 2792 lb.Exterior Length: 42' 7"Exterior Height: 13' 4"Exterior Width: 102"Fresh Water: 95.00 gal.Gray Water: 82.00 gal.Black Water: 82.00 gal.Awning Size: 20'

Specifications Definitions
GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight of the unit when fully loaded. It includes all weights, inclusive of all fluids, cargo, optional equipment and accessories. For safety and product performance do NOT exceed the GVWR.

GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) – is the maximum permissible weight, including cargo, fluids, optional equipment and accessories that can be safely supported by a combination of all axles.

UVW (Unloaded Vehicle Weight)* – is the typical weight of the unit as manufactured at the factory. It includes all weight at the unit’s axle(s) and tongue or pin and LP Gas. The UVW does not include cargo, fresh potable water, additional optional equipment or dealer installed accessories.
*Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

CCC (Cargo Carrying Capacity) ** – is the amount of weight available for fresh potable water, cargo, additional optional equipment and accessories. CCC is equal to GVWR minus UVW. Available CCC should accommodate fresh potable water (8.3 lbs per gallon). Before filling the fresh water tank, empty the black and gray tanks to provide for more cargo capacity.
**Estimated Average based on standard build optional equipment.

Each Forest River RV is weighed at the manufacturing facility prior to shipping. A label identifying the unloaded vehicle weight of the actual unit and the cargo carrying capacity is applied to every Forest River RV prior to leaving our facilities.

The load capacity of your unit is designated by weight, not by volume, so you cannot necessarily use all available space when loading your unit.

Actual towing capacity is dependent upon your particular loading and towing circumstances, which includes the GVWR, GAWR and GCWR as well as adequate trailer brakes. Please refer to the Operator's Manual of your vehicle for further towing information.

I am not trying to tell you if you have enough truck or not, that’s a decision only you can make. My experience with our RiverStone 38FB2 is these are heavy rigs, and when loaded for FT travel/living we are at 19.2K lbs with 3800lbs on the pin. 3800lbs pin weight plus 250 lbs for most hitches on average plus passengers weights in the cab plus any additional accessory options will exceed SRW vehicle cargo capacity.
Tow vehicle discussions tend to get sideways quickly and not knowing how you will use your rig, everyone’s situation will be different. Really hope you enjoy your coach, we love ours.

Thanks! We are looking forward to it.

Im in the process of polishing it out and going to apply gtechniq ceramic coat and exo to the whole thing. So far im in two 9 hr days. But the polishing is almost done.

The 39rkfb has less pin weight than the other riverstone floor plans. Although its at the top of the scale for a srw truck its very doable.

It is a beautiful camper! We are actually in the process of purchasing a 39RKFB now, same interior, but Crimson Night on the exterior. Question: With A/C on 50amp power, are you finding that the walk-in closet in the bathroom is staying extremely hot? We have discovered that there are no vents in the closet, but are concerned about it being so hot with as much insulation as Riverstone puts into the exterior of the RV. Would like to hear if someone that owns one is finding the closet to be extremely hot as well, or is it a possible defect in the unit. The dealership has determined that there is not a way to add an A/C vent to the closet. Any help before the final PDI and signing the papers would be greatly appreciated.

Yes ours is the same way. We normally leave the door cracked open to kinda balance it out. We havent found it to be a problem but we are only in there to get our clothes or the vac.

I have looked about adding a vent for the ac but it would be more of a pain to add vs the reward since we dont spend much time in there.

Where are you buying from?

Thank you for the information! We were concerned it might be a defect and didn't want to start out with an existing problem. We are purchasing ours from Oklahoma RV Center in Moore, Ok. and couldn't be happier with their attention and service that they have provided. We were going to order one exactly like yours, interior and exterior, but were going to have to wait approximately 6 months due to the plant being shutdown for Covid-19. This one arrived at the dealership sooner than expected and since we had already made contact with them, they called and gave us a chance to look at it before they even put it on the website. How has your experience been with the unit since taking delivery of it? Any major/ minor issues or dislikes, other than your brakes not working? That was definitely a major issue!

Very nice! Like the paint scheme on it and really like that the fridge is not on a slide-out!

Just little bugs here and there. We bought from couches. I really wished i would have known what i know now about the owner himself. We would have bought elsewhere.

We currently have a bad front jack. The main jack is bypassing internally causing the front of the camper to leak down until pressure builds up on the return side.
The rear most ac unit was leaking water in when it rained. Thankful i found it when the ac ran.
I fixed that myself.
Also the main bathroom toilet wouldnt go down and bubble back up. I found the black tank pipe was down in the tank to far and the toilet paper wasnt getting into the tank. It was making like a filter in the pipe.

Ive called riverstone warranty guy (Austin) and nothing is there fault.

Just be aware of this when you buy. Unless you have a dealer your comfortable with they might have a better dealings with them.

I was able to get our unit cleaned up and the paint scratch free and applied a ceramic coating plus the exo 3 top layer to help prevent water spotting and dirt from sticking as bad.

It really looks amazing! Overall the build quality is top notch!
