2022 39RKFB Features - missing awning

We bought our 20222 39RKFB unit last September and the on-line brochere from Forest River shows it has 2 awnings, a 12 foot and 20 foot. We asked the salesman about it and he said that due to demand and parts supply issues, Forest River shipped our unit to them without the 12 foot awning, but he was not sure if it was standard equipment. Everything I see from Forest River says this should have been installed as standard equipment. It's on the floor plan, features list, etc. No where does it say this is an option. Anyone else have this issue and how did you get it resolved?

Thank you for the link! I contacted them and got a call the next day. Riverstone apologized for the oversight and agreed to send the awning to Lazy Days for installation and will cover the labor cost also. Very happy with their customer service.

josborn3 - let us know when your awning actually gets installed. I'd been curious as to how long it takes. Do you know what brand it is?

Thanks & Good Luck.

Goes to show the lack of quality control from the factory and dealer. The factories, as we know, have been making products with sub standard workmanship practices. The dealer just passes the crap along. You called out the factory and got results, many others have not been so fortunate.

Rest of the Riverstone has been great, quality workmanship all around. Missing awning and firefly system for the holding tanks were the only real concerns. Both will be addressed next month when I get it back to the dealer. will update this post after the work is completed. Love that Lazy Days has a campground on the dealer site for customers to stay at for free while their rigs are worked on.

will definitely post an update. We have a Riverstone 39RKFB. Riverstone said they will ship the awning immediately. I have an appointment with Lazy Days on Apr 28 to have it installed.

They just started to include the 2nd awning standard so maybe just maybe the factory worker had a brain fart the day it went down the line and thought they were still an option. Glad to see it is is being taken care of.
