Just wanted to report for anyone interested about a particular turn I ended up making with some particulars.
1. I drive a 2021 Ram 3500 Mega Cab, which means short bed, but 6'4" bed so not as short as some.
2. I have a Gen-Y Executive gooseball hitch (6.5k) (

3. I have a Gen-Y Goosepuck 5" offset (
https://genyhitch.com/product/goosepuck/).
4. I have a 2022 Riverstone 42FSKG.
I was faced with a tight turn recently, and it made me a little nervous with the potential for a cab strike. I previously had a Superglide, and that gave me a lot of comfort with turning. This is the first tight turn I have had to make that wasn't just testing it out.
In a campground, I needed to make a 57 degree right hand turn (used google maps to measure, so not scientifically precise) within about 19' of lane space on each leg. I had to watch the front of the truck to try to use as much room there as I could while also watching the rear passenger side (right hand turn) tire path. Then I remembered I also need to be watching the cab distance.
Luckily, everything worked out, but the cab was definitely getting pretty close. I can be certain that, in this case, had I not had the offset I would have either struck the truck/trailer or would have had to reroute the turn back around the block.
In any case, it worked out without any damage or embarrassing moments. Just wanted to pass it along in case others wondered how this might work out. It is hard to find exact truck, hitch, trailer combinations to compare against, so here is 1 more for a search engine.
