Talking Any Riverstone Legacy Owners?

New member to FROG, just joined tonight. Currently own another brand fiver but we are looking to upgrade to a Riverstone Legacy 38RE. I don't see a sub-forum for Riverstone Legacy, so if this post is in the wrong area, please advise.

If there are any Riverstone Legacy owners out there, please comment on how well you like the unit, whether you considered DRV, any warranty issues, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome, we have a Legacy 38MB purchased last July. So far all has been good with very little issue, we picked it up just before the FROG Rally last year and while leaving noticed the inside slide seal sagging a bit, a quick phone call to the plant foreman which resulted in a fast stop at the factory, on a Saturday their day off, and they replaced both large slide seals. New season just starting and shades are acting up a bit ( adjustments needed) and a drawer glide acting up, all in all we feel it is a great unit. DRV and Luxe was on our radar but with the great service we have received from Forest River and the Cedar Creek division kept us with Forest River. Good luck on your choice.

No River Stone sub thread ( YET ) but hope that will change soon.

dblr, thanks for the reply.

Did you originally pick your Legacy up at a dealer or did you pick it up at the factory during the FROG rally? The factory would be just as close as the dealer I am considering (Couch's RV in Hamilton, OH), plus you raise a good point about getting items fixed right at the factory.

We bought ours at International RV in Elkhart, ok dealer for price but when I mentioned anything about something needing fixed or adjusted their answer was the factory already knows your coming get it all done there. We were interested in the River Stone from the very start when they were going to be called Allure so I was in contact with the factory from the very start and really did all the planning with them and only used the dealer to deliver, I would have wished I could have just done everything thru the factory.
Friends bought their Cedar Creek at Couch and were very happy with the transaction and service there.

Congrats and enjoy! Take your time when checking it out don't get to excited to start camping, we had very little that needed fixing or adjusted. What floor plan did you get?

2018 38re

Hello fellow RiverStoners, we just picked up our 38RE last month and had her out on the road last week. We thought we loved our Creek, but this rig is the best. Are any of you RiverStoners going to the FROG this year?

We should have our own spot on the FORUM for all of us RiverStoners

We love ours, we have a 38TS 2017. The only issue is the Windgard not connecting. But this is a sound unit.

We have to take ours in for some warranty issues... I agree very sound unit not a problem staying warm or cool in it.

We sealed the deal on a 2017 38RE today at Country Road RV in Sundre, AB, they need about a week to transfer our solar setup and do the PDI. She is a beauty.

Thanks for the kind words.
We had our eyes on this one for a few weeks (actually since it rolled into the dealer's yard), it has all the options minus the generator and we're quite happy about it.
Now we'll have to wait for a phone call from the dealer asking us to fork over the dough .

Congrats to all y'all new Riverstone owners!! We are hoping to some day join the club. Have our sights set on the new shorty model 34SLE supposed to come out later this year. Riverstone is ticking all the boxes on our wish list.

Welcome to FROG and RSL

We picked up a 2018 Riverstone Legacy 38MB at a great price from Couch's in Hamilton in Feb. We love it!! Would have liked to see the new outdoor kitchen model in person though because that is what I really was searching for. We looked at the others but really liked this model.

Riverstone (particularly the RE & MB) is on our short list. I am hoping some owners of these might share the Cargo Carying Capacity (from the sticker) with me along with the options chosen on your particular coach.
