You can count us in on future Riverstone Legacy owners. I really like the 38RE floor plan that has the rear storage under the living area, although the door opening is only 11 inches tall which is a bit short.

Yes, I recently signed papers n took delivery on a 2017 Riverstone Legacy RE back in March. The rear compartment under the living room is narrow on height but I store all my folding chairs, tables, outdoor rugs, etc, etc. That space helps more than one would think because it frees up space in your bigger compartments because these things are not taking up space in there. I thought the same thing at first. We love the floor plan as well.

mes0600, which color of full body paint did you get? Is it called dusk by chance? I see maroon in the scheme, but don't think it is the Merlot.

No it's not Dusk , behind the door that holds all of the controls for slide out, gen start, etc etc...... it's written that my paint is "crimson n cream" plus my paint scheme ( layout) is different from my Riverstone owners Manuel. Hope this helps.

mes0600, thanks for the reply. "Crimson and Cream" was a 2017 color scheme, and has been changed to "Dusk" for 2018, so it is hard to keep track. Last weekend we looked at a 38RE and it didn't match either the 2017 or 2018 color schemes. Found out the buyer gave his truck's color codes to Riverstone/paint vendor and they matched the 5er's primary colors so it matched his truck. I guess that is kinda like dblr was saying, that the factory will work with you if you contact them.

My current TV is a F350 King Ranch dually in white platinum and with the caribou accent strip on the bottom, so the Crimson and Cream/2018 Dusk would look the best since it has the most white. Trying to talk the DW into a new 2017 Super Duty, and would order the white gold which would match the top front color nicely, but will probably keep what I currently have.

I bet your White platinum F350King Ranch would look sharp with the 2018 Riverstone. That would be a nice set up.

Wow expensive little suckers but from the looks of it a lot of nice upgrades.

Are they made any better then say a $50K FR product? For that kind of $ I would expect a whole lot more in terms of upgrades, quality, and warranty coverage?

Factory warranty is pretty much the same but it covers the extra added on those beauties.

I guess it depends on how FR stands behind their product and the dealers. I will let others buy new and take the majority of the hit, then I buy 3 years old and it saves me time and $

The Highest Luxury or fancy coach we look at is the Montana, and Toy Haulers but just won't buy new, too Much for a short warranty.

Just our preference and it works ok for us. I bought new once and just wasn't worth the effort trying to get warranty work done even though we bought in VA and saved thousands over local dealers. To us we finally got the unit we want and will keep up with the seals and maintenance hoping to get several good years out of it.

We started RVing about 4 years ago, first one was a 24' tt that was a 90's model that we really did like breaking the ice, 1 year later realizing we loved camping we bout our first new 5er, loved it ....than 18 mo later we knew we was hooked for good n went for the Riverstone. Like u mentioned it's a terrible thing to pay what these cost for the warranty runs out b4 it's even broke in.

Yep but it beats tent camping . Did that for years then started in 2013 with a 2012 Shasta I bought 2 years old, then decided one year later to buy a new FR Rockwood Roo, which was great but shower was bad and tent ends were noisy. Looked for a used Crusader for a few years while owning the others, then last April 2016 decided to buy an F350 PSD 6.7 Short Box Crew Cab King Ranch thinking I was getting a Montana. We got our Crusader 295 RST TE from same place we bought Roo, got a good deal and are very happy with our 2013. I did a few mods and upgrades. We are happy got the layout we wanted but have plenty of Payload and Towing capacity if we decided to go bigger later on.

I don't intend on upgrading this for at least 5-7 years, but who knows, def keeping it at least 3 BC we have no loan on it so we are trying to use it 30-50 nights per year.

Alaska?

That's going to be quite a trip to get back to the dealer for repairs!

Hi and welcome to the FRF. I would be interested to read what you think of the 39FK as that is the model we prefer. Close call against the 39FL but on reflection we prefer the FK. The one negative for us is the tiny microwave they have installed. Other than that we loved the look of it. Now just trying to figure out how we can pay for it.

Hi Hutch.....Interesting that you were interested in the 39FL....we to were interested in a front living....in fact that's what we had decided on after going to some RV shows the past 3 years. When we got serious about buying finally we were pretty much decided on a Montana...but after looking at the Riverstones and the way they're built and all we changed our minds. And , the wife as set as she was on the FL , after seeing this one , changed her mind. The one thing she didn't like was that Slate colored wall....and she made them change the color of that.

This will be our first RV ever...and hopefully our last as we are retiring in the very near future and pan on spending ALOT of time in it. We're supposed to pick it up this coming weekend....Hopefully all goes well and by this time next year we will be fishing and enjoying our retirement.

Can you tell me if you have to leave open the door where the 50amp plug is when it is connected to electric? I t thought maybe it should have a place to come out the bottom or something. Does yours?
