Dishwasher

We are about to pull the trigger on a 2019 Riverstone 37FLTH. We have been researching this model for almost a year. We had a Cyclone 39' garage type 5th Wheel. But decided to get this one since we are retiring in a few years. The wife wanted to know if anybody has noticed any issues with the Dishwasher warping the cabinetry.
Also, any advice about getting a full coverage warranty would be appreciated.

We have not had any warping, but seldom use the dishwasher. (Seasonal property requires pump out service.)

There are many posts about extended warranties. My personal opinion: They are a very expensive insurance policy. I won't buy one...never had, never will. At my age, what I have saved by not buying them likely could buy a Riverstone!

If you do buy an extended warranty, get one from a reputable company that is known to pay on legitimate claims. Such policies do exist.

We have been full time in our 2017 38FB for three years and use the Fisher & Paykel daily.

We have had no issues with any warping. The only suggestion I would have is to ensure the spray arm is properly seated after travel. Ours has bounced out of place a couple of times and you will get an error code. Plop it back into place and you are good to go.

Our dishwasher uses less water than doing a sink full of dishes.

It's right up there with the stacked washer and dryer as must haves.

Fully agree! We've been full-timing in ours and love it. Have had zero problems with it.

Love the dishwasher. Ironically your post covers two issues, I'm dealing with. My RV is 10 weeks out of factory warranty. Power cord (after surge protector) shorts. Fries numerous electrical items, including dishwasher and fireplace. Probably $2,000 to replace all items. Have ExtraRide extended warranty; Platinum w/$100 deductible. Cost $4,000 for 7 years. Half my money back in 10 weeks. Like all insurance, it's a crapshoot. For me, peace of mind and knowing my limited skill base when it comes to repairs, it's worth it.

Skip the dw if you can.

We had a Fisher Paykel for 3 years, it did a half a.s job cleaning the dishes, had no space for bowls and pots, developed a random water sensor error and started leaking around the drawer seal. I'm not saying it is a bad brand but for people like us who run at least 2 loads a day through there are better options.
We found a Bosch that fits the space perfectly, all I had to do was remove the utensil drawer and the toe kick to slide it in. I anchored the machine to the floor with 3/4" L-Brackets and to the top rail under the counter using the factory supplied brackets. The dishes come out cleaner and we use a lot less water.
(The protective skin was still on when I took the pic.)
