Remove BR television

2018 38RE. I need to take the bedroom tv off to figure out some coax the previous owner messed with. Does anyone know how to get it down? It’s completely surrounded. There are some screws to the side but I’m not sure they will remove the side panel. Click image for larger version

is it screwed down or is it on a swing mount (does it wiggle if you out your hands on the sides of the TV)? Try to grab the edges to pull steardily and see if it will pop out of the locks (swing mount have a pressed in lock to hold them steady). Do jerk too hard just in case it is not swing mount)

Not a swing mount. I feel it has to pull loose from the bottom but I’m scared to pull hard. I tried to look behind it with an endoscope but couldn’t tell anything.

Is there possibly a Button Strap connected to the bottom? You say it has some resistance at the bottom, this is why I'm asking. Other than that, it must have some sort of locking traveling mechanism. The old owners surely ( at least one would think ) wouldn't have anchored it to wall without ever needing to remove it. Just my thoughts.

Don't have your model so it may not apply, but in my 38MB (living room) there is a button up about 8" from center that you have to press, then lift off the tv. Two person job on the living room tv as it's large. Again, may not apply to you. Good luck and keep us posted on how you did it.

if it's like the bedroom TV in our 2021 37MRE the TV is bolted to the backing board. You have to remove the board by removing the 4 screws in the board then the TV and board come out together.

Did you buy your RV from a dealer? If so, ask the service department on how to remove the TV. I asked my dealer's service department on how to remove my TV in the bedroom on a 34RL Cedar Creek.

They informed me to lift up to separate the TV from the bracket that was holding in my TV.

It doesn't hurt to ask the service department they usually will help you.

X2
All you need is a #2 Robertson and it only takes a minute or two to take it off.

Thanks for the help. I got it off, sorted my coax, added an hdmi cable so that I could have one for the satellite receiver and one for the DVD player. I drilled a hole on the left side of the frame board and have it fixed so I can set my satellite receiver up on the window valance. Trying to make it look neat without cords and coax everywhere. I’m happy with it.
