Broken shower drain

I have a Nobo 16.8 and I noticed water leaking out the bottom of the trailer. After digging around found that inside the shower drain cut out, the screw on pipe assembly has cracked. Looks like this is a pretty rigid set so im assuming any bumps must have caused this.

Any one else have this issue and have a better flexible fix for it? Im thinking some kind of rubber fitting would be better to flex with the bumps.

That picture is a little dark, but I don't know if this will work for you, but here is a rubber P-Trap.

A lot of people also brace up the floor with 4x4s. The floor flexes a lot when you step in the bathroom and this seems to be breaking the drain assy. It's a common problem. I braced mine by putting in a plastic shoe box and shooting it full of spray foam. Did the trick.

19.8 - Shower drain leak

We had a similar leak in our shower drain. It was due to the pipes coming apart downstream of the elbow, but no crack - I just reconnected them and no problem since.

I assume it's due to the rigidity from the inlet to the drain all the way to the main pipe.

If it happens again, I'm considering a flexible piece downstream of the elbow to allow the two sections to float independent of each other.

I'm pretty sure I know the bump I hit that jarred it loose . The lack of support around the drain seems to allow enough flex to cause problems there if anyone steps on/near the drain.
