NOBO Mods (especially 19.7)

We just picked up our 19.7 a couple weeks ago, curious to know any mods you guys have made and how you like them.

You could start a NO BO mod thread, in the NO BO sub-forum.

We added a second 12v 65mah battery to our 16.5. Just got back from two nights of dry camping, using the furnace both nights, water pump for flushing, lights, and charging devices almost nonstop. The onboard battery indicator stayed at full almost the entire time, and finally dropped to 2/3 by the time we left on day 3! Anyway, seems like an easy mod that goes a long way...highly recommended.

Battery box was from Amazon, and the matching battery came from the local Centennial distributor.

I just added a 12v multi-function panel (2 USB ports, a cigarette lighter socket, and voltage indicator) to the side of the kitchen cabinet, tied into the 12 v line going to the under-cabinet dome light. I connected the panel with a cigarette lighter socket with an in-line 10a fuse, that way if the panel ever acts up I can just unplug it at the source. Also just like the ability to have an in-cabinet 12v socket if I ever need it (???). I used 12ga wire and connected the panel so the switch port controls power to the remaining panel ports.

Here's a link to the panel I ordered:

This will provide easier access to charging ports, and also a power source for the under-cabinet fan we use while cooking.

I'm planning to install another one in the cabinet underneath the tv, near the entryway.
