Nobody 19.8 - Solar question

Hey guys - coming out from the shadows of lurking with a question about solar.

I have a 21 Nobo 19.8 that came equipped with Solar (190w panel - 10 amp solar controller). I'm adding another 190 watt panel and swapping the controller to the 30amp controller.

I'm to assume that the fuse breaker between the controller and battery is only rated for 10amps? Does anybody know where they would factory install that breaker so that I could check? The holes behind the controller and panels are tiny so I can't peek to see if its indeed in the wall.

TIA!

solar

It used the line that goes to the roof to run a 400 watt panel and the wires in the wall didnt have a fuse in there from what I recall. I traced the wire all the way forward to where it tied to the battery and dont recall seeing a fuse there either. I chose to install my controller forward in compartment behind the battery as the bathroom seemed like a dumb location for it.

Well that's disappointing on their part. Thanks for your feedback. I'll probably need to trace and run or replace breakers myself but sounds like it wont have any.

Not breakers

They dont use breakers on anything thats DC on those trailers. You would be looking at fuses, usually the atc type.
