Norcold 6cu.ft. refer Problem

Need some help here. Our dealer can't seem to fix our Norcold 6 cu. ft. Refrigerator. It is in a brand new 2021 NOBO 19.2. The refer is a 2-way and the lower section fails to cool down properly on both propane and ac. The freezer section appears to be ok. Also, this is the second refer on warranty by FR. The dealer has had the trailer for 2.5 months waiting for the new refer and additional fan. Our fault for just leaving it there and not using it. Anyone had this refer problem, what was the fix?

How long did you allow the fridge part to cool down? How long was your test?

Norcold 6 cu. ft. refer problem

Actually the dealer prep worker turned it on and checked it for 24hrs before we took delivery. Advised it was working and would even cool down more after we transferred items from our cooler?? It was 110 degrees outside at the time. We camped nearby first night and all seemed ok. On the road heading out of state and after checking a few time, refer lower section never cooled below 50 degrees. Called and returned to dealer.

Best advice I've read was to plan to cool it down 24 hours before loading frozen and pre-cooled food. We actually cool ours down best part of a day, add cold items, then leave the following day. Not a big deal if plugged into house. Bought remote temp gauges on Amazon, and can check temps without opening the trailer. Ours has the opposite problem, fridge temp too low and think we're out of adjustment range!

Iíll be watching for a resolution on this. We have not seen a problem with ours yet but have not run it on propane. Maiden voyage this weekend and the beer in the fridge, started yesterday on shore power, is frosty cold.

Could be getting bad fridges from never-cold , seem to be quite a few .installation being done correctly makes a big difference . if the factory didn't get it right I'll bet the dealer is just slapping it in with out making sure clearances are correct .

Norcold 6 cu. ft. refer problem Update

At the dealer now for almost 3 months with no resolution. 2nd Norcold refer had exact same problem. Dealer trying to resolve with adding vent fans and making sure clearances around refer are good. Finally getting FR involved. Very frustrating!
