It looks like a plug that needs teflon tape, but it didn't have any teflon tape on it. I bought it new, and there wasn't access to it from the bottom, so it would have come from the factory like that.
This unknown drain/plug is separate from the fresh water tank drain tube that protrudes from the bottom of the RV. It's also separate from the hot/cold low-point drains.
Can anyone confirm it's a second fresh water tank drain plug and I should just throw some teflon tape on it?

Sadly Can’t speak to the plug, I have a 16.2 and my low water drains are in the back (presumably for winterizing).
I am however interested if you have managed to get a glimpse of the method in which they secured your tanks to the underbelly. My biggest fear, traveling with about 1/3 to 1/2 of a full fresh tank is the infamous “falling out” problem.
