two fresh water tank drain plugs?

I have a 2019 Forest River No Boundaries 16.8. I've had a fresh water tank leak. The undercarriage has a plastic cover, so I cut a bit of that away to look at the tank and plumbing.

I found a second drain plug on the bottom of the fresh water tank that was very loose. It was concealed by the undercarriage cover. The plug doesn't look like the self-sealing kind. It looks like a plug that needs teflon tape, but it didn't have any teflon tape on it. I bought it new, and there wasn't access to it from the bottom, so it would have come from the factory like that.

This unknown drain/plug is separate from the fresh water tank drain tube that protrudes from the bottom of the RV. It's also separate from the hot/cold low-point drains.

Can anyone confirm it's a second fresh water tank drain plug and I should just throw some teflon tape on it?

Sadly Can’t speak to the plug, I have a 16.2 and my low water drains are in the back (presumably for winterizing).

I am however interested if you have managed to get a glimpse of the method in which they secured your tanks to the underbelly. My biggest fear, traveling with about 1/3 to 1/2 of a full fresh tank is the infamous “falling out” problem.

I'll take a look for straps since things are visually accessible.
