Brake Service Message on Ford Transit 350

On the road I got a "Brake Service.." dash message, Also got Red Brake light indicator, ABS, etc. The next message is "Hill assist not available".

So far I can't locate any Ford Dealer or RV repair with any appointments available. Can I drive my Beyond RB with all these lights on the dash?

Oh, and its 2020, milage 9600

Any indication in RED is a major concern as far as I’m concerned. Yellow are not as crucial. What does your owners manual indicate is the meaning behind these indicators?

Moved thread from the Tech and Repair section to the Motorhome section's Ford Transit Chassis sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that sub-forum.

Ford Transit 350 Breaks issue

The manual is not very helpful. For the Red Brake light it says the emergency brake is on. Well, not.

I should have added it's a 2020 with 9600 miles, still under 5 year warranty.

What good is the warranty if no Ford dealers within 300 miles will work on RV's anymore??

So the indicator is that the emergency brake is on, but you say not. Then, with only 9600 miles in over 3 years, it’s possible the linkage needs lubrication due to inactivity, so maybe it is doing its job, and the linkage is stuck.

Have you searched for Ford service on this link?

Check your brake fluid level. That light isn’t just for the parking brake. The ABS, hill assist etc. are disabled when a fault is detected. It could also be a faulty wheel speed sensor or broken wire to one of the sensors.

Because you have multiple faults I don’t think it’s the parking brake stuck on.
