Lot of folks who have nothing to do with RV's use the rest area. When the doors are locked, the surrounding shaded areas get pretty rank. Advanced warning that they are not available makes the area better for everyone.

Lost two reservations at Topsail Hill Preserve and Dr Julian Bruce State Park on Saint Gorge Island. Was able to find some extra days at Ho Hum in Carrabelle

Spring 2020
Mid-March and we are (were) looking forward to blowing the dust off the RV’s, extending the slides and going for a round of golf or two at the end of April / early May.
The Government of Canada today (March 17) announced closure of ALL national parks across the country, until further notice. Of course access through some of the parks will have to maintained, but gates will be closed and locked. No camping, no stopping etc 
So depressing! Stay safe & stay well!

Not only have they closed the rest areas (buildings/facilities) but they have blocked the entrances/exits. Those of us who are self contained can't even pull in and... rest!

I guess they figure you will contaminate their parking lot. Some will use it as their bathroom.
