COVID-19 Warranty Extension

Winnebago and others are extending their warranties due to COVID-19 loss of use.

Our new trailer went into Camping World for warranty work at the very start of COVID-19 restrictions. Then FEMA took over Camping World to give trailers to homeless people. So Camping World couldn't work on ours. Then the Forest River factory closed so Camping World couldn't get authorization for additional work they needed to do. And it is still sitting there.
I realize none of the above is due to Forest River. But it sure would be good customer service to extend warranties since it isn't the buyers fault either.
Is Forest River extending our warranties due to COVID-19 loss of use?

It is on the table for discussion. In your case it was in before all of this started, so I don't think its an issue. Camping World will have record of it coming in before the warranty period was up (if its close).

I can't speak for every division, but we often look at things on a case by case basis. There is no such thing as black and white these days, just shades of gray.
