Maybe they do get wiped down. How would we know?? ......

Far easier now that fewer people are out and about.

Villagerjjm, meaning what?

In six months to a year from now, you'll probably see a new company pitching their chic, fashionable new material disposable gloves on Shark Tank.

I wouldn't under-estimate the power of the new virus. You could east sewage your whole life but it wouldn't protect you from a seriously contagious new disease.

Remember, 600 people A DAY are dying in Italy from this virus. That's not hysteria.

Closer to home, here in WA State based on numbers reported this AM the death rate from diagnosed cases of Covid19 is just under 5%. 95 deaths from 1996 confirmed cases.

If there is any good news in this, only 6% of those tested, high risk or symptomatic individuals, have tested positive.

The 2019-2020 flu season for the US is estimated to have a mortality rate of around 1%.

Certainly worth waking up and noticing.

Adding: Here's a chart showing how the "trajectory" of Covid19 new cases is doubling in the US and other countries approximately every 3 days.

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/...ion-trajectory

To add some perspective, if you double something every three days, in 30 days you'll have around 1.7 Million of them. Penneys, Dollars, or Covid 19 cases, all the same.

What does "east sewage your whole life" mean?

Was clear to me that he was suggesting that if one ate sewage they'd eventually build an immunity to every thing it contains. If they live that is.

HaHa! Yeah, it is pretty obvious, now that I'm awake. This is why I shouldn't even turn the computer on until A, I've been awake for at least an hour, and B, I've had my morning coffee. Thanks Mike.

Correction of wildly mis-stated statistics

The coronavirus deaths are mostly people in the 70's or 80's in poor health and the death rate is 1% No cases reported of children and look at their habits.
Actually from the CDC website,
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-res...-pandemic.html
the actual numbers are
- 60.8 Million Cases
- 12,469 Deaths
which translates into a 0.02% ( two hundredths of a percent).

Please, if you are going to state "facts" make sure they indeed are correct.

The site team has had to remove posts from this thread on 2 separate occasions due to numerous rule violations. This time we decided to just close it as it has gone off topic and has just turned into argument baiting.

There are plenty of other threads in this sub-forum to discuss the topic but let's please keep it civil.
