New forum for Covid-19 Topics - README

Because of the very high interest and posting activity regarding COVID-19, the site team has established this temporary new forum to contain all threads related to this topic. We have moved existing threads on this topic to this new forum and will continue to move posts and new threads to this area of the forum, regardless of where they were initially posted.

All Community Rules will be strictly enforced in this forum. Posts in violation of the rules may be deleted without notification based on the judgment of the moderators. In addition, posts that exhibit fear-mongering or other anti-social behavior may result in the author’s posting privileges being restricted. Please be especially cautious about posting politically charged content and be sure to report problem posts.

There has been a lot of very useful information and perspective shared here on this topic, but unfortunately also a good bit that doesn't align with forum rules. Please respect your fellow members by thinking through this before posting:

Just a reminder, from the first post in this read me thread. This subsection is only a temporary section due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how it does affect all of us and our RV'ing/traveling.


It should not be used to delve into things that really aren't topical or be used to open many different threads. The site team is about to merge multiple threads opened by members who may be just bored due to having to stay at home.


One of the problems with too many threads about this, is what is called "forum fatigue". The community gets tired of reading the same gripes, that don't have a solution.

The site team is once again reminding our members of the posting guidelines for the temporary Covid-19 subsection. The site team has been spending an awful lot of time answering complaints, deleting posts and closing threads that do not adhere to the guidelines, which are explained in the OP above....and copied here below again. As per the guidelines, if you have any questions about this, feel free to "message" any moderator.
