Am in the market for a new class C Have 2 year old travel trailer. Just a heads up. Things are changing in the industry with Covid. If you are looking make sure to ask alot of questions especially about options. There is a big issue from what I understand with getting parts to manufacture certain items like refrigerators and air conditioners. Refrigerators it seems have become 12 volt only. No more standard AC/12 volt propane refrigerators being installed. Batteries will drain dramatically if you are camping off the grid. Also finding manufacturers doing away with second AC options due to shortages among other things. Looks like I will be sticking with my travel trailer or looking used. Anybody looking. It's a topic that's been covered here a lot in the forums.
Some people camp where there is always electricity, so for them, a refrigerator that operates on 12v or a residential refrigerator is not a problem. Personally, that's not something we want.
The explosion of people wanting to travel and camp in an rv has not only resulted in a shortage of rvs, but a shortage of campsites.
We're not traveling right now because of health problems, but due to our high risk we'd not be traveling anyway.
