As owner of a small business, that is considered essential, I have been working 6 days a week, 11 hour days. Not because we are busy, but because we have slowed down to a point that staffing is cut in half. I'm doing the jobs of 3 people and praying we all come out of this physically and financially healthy. On the bright side I've actually lost about 10 lbs from all this work.

I’m actually working out MORE than I used to. I want to be as healthy as possible in case I catch the thing.

I'm not doing anything special and this morning I got on the scale. Shocked. I've lost 8 pounds doing nothing.

Amazing how cheap you can buy used exercise equipment for. Combined with yard work, family projects, and a two story house, we manage to keep the weight drift under control. Just have to keep mixing it up to keep from getting bored.
What I'm looking forward to is what happens in 9 months and what that new group of humans will be called
So are you saying that you and DW are spicing up your personal time?

We have 4 johns in the S&B. I bought a little sign that says Jim and put it on the door of my favorite john. Now if anyone asks what I did I tell them I went to the Jim this morning for a long workout.

This is our busy season in the yard (March through November!) So exercise is not a problem. And alllllll the sorting and tossing inside that we need to do on rainy days. And cooking every meal (except once a week carryout to support our local restaurants.) Haven't even had to start mowing and trimming yet.....

But we did just brew our first homebrew in over a year, so that will be an issue in a couple of weeks!

Riding 3 wheel bikes

We live in a large senior mobile and RV park and ride bikes 2 to 3 times daily on our regular route, about 3 miles

This way, we get exercise and can practice distancing

And we have our seats with us and enjoy talking with so many who are in the same boat as all of us are.

Hang in there everyone. We'll get through this. Promise

The more I sit around the house, the more I discover things that need repaired and/or attention. Makes me tired just thinking about it.

Since I have retired 16 years ago, I have found that some of my clothes have shrunk. I just didn't know what to do about that situation. I then heard about the solution to clothes shrinking. Once a week go into the closet, lift all the clothes hanging and turn the hanger around 180 degrees and rehang. Problem solved......

The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is where we generally go for health services.
Mayo is a front runner when it comes to providing accurate information and quality services, including research. Their information from an international perview is that there are multiple strains of Covid 19 that may affect people differently. They put out a podcast on March 30 that is very informative. Might be worth a listen.

I'm renaming my dog. His new name is 5 miles. That way I can say "I walk 5 miles every day".

I have one too. I'm pretty sure that it is about as genuine as a stripper telling me that I'm her favorite.

Being around my wife more means my wife can monitor my eating habits more! I always exercise a lot anyway since I am retired. Have lost 5 lbs since the stay at home order in CA was issued. Always try to get around 12K to 13K steps a day with my step monitor. or more.
