I did not read this article but saw others it is not Military wide but rather the Army that sent emails out asking for help in those areas with specific quals and other interested folks. If the Navy puts out a call I will respond don't know what they would use me for maybe crossing guard but I would help.

Penna. is also asking for retired health professionals to help. They are reinstating their Lisense until the end of the year.

One of my best friends retired several years ago from being a RN in acute care. They are asking her to come back and help at area hospitals.
She is torn on this decision as not only is she in the high risk group, but there is not enough protective gear.
I advised her not to do it, and when they can provide enough protective gear for her, then revisited the decision.

Some states are also allowing licensed people in the healthcare field to come to their state and "practice" without having to re-license in that state. I assume that's only for the duration.

In a state of emergency, governors can issue "Executive Orders" waiving regulations or restricting actions.

Here are the ones for our state.

The emails are actually sent out to GAUGE THE INTEREST of those that might be willing to return to service.

Smile

The email I received included those Medical MOS/Branch specialties they urgently need plus a note that other MOS's could also reach out for reactivation status inquiries too.
