Does this look a little off?

This middle slide that has the fridge, oven and tv/ fireplace looks crooked to me!
When inside though, seems ok!! Put a level on the kitchen island right across from it.
Then turned around and put level on slide counter.....see the difference?
Is there a way to adjust the slide...bring the front up or back down? Don't notice any this off in the whole park.....
This is the 2022 Ahara 378 BH-OK. Just got it...brand new.

It’s hard to use counters for level. No telling if they were installed level..lol…

I think it’s an optical illusion You see the slide top edge against the RV roof line. The roof line slants down about halfway down the slide length. It seems to be aligned with the rear slide and the decals look like they line up for the two slides…

^^^ x2.
Looks like an optical illusion to me too. If you take a ruler and run it along the slides in the top picture, the line is straight across the top and bottom. It's the roof line that creates the illusion because of the way it slopes up.

On our REV, we have a friend that swears we're never level because the fender trim over the tires creates the optical illusion that it's not level. Had to get out the level to prove it and they're still not convinced.

whole trailer looks a bit uneven ...........front appears low?
could be the camera angle or the road crowning
certainly have to ignore the roof-line that looks way suspect!

my2c on slides.... any small error on level make it so the slide wall is the lower...
any water that gets in........... will drain out rather than in...

and for those that have slides both sides....

you're on your own there!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
if you're asking whether the slides are fitted correctly
when you look at the black painted area .... looks good to me

As already mentioned, using a straight edge on the photo, the middle slide looks aligned to the rear one. The sloped roof just makes it look a little off. As for the level measurements, be happy with what you have and don’t expect much. Remember, this is an RV, slapped together quickly and carelessly. I can put a level in various places in my motorhome and get lots of different readings. I’d drive myself crazy if I expected perfection.

Okay, here's what I did.
  • Downloaded the photo.
  • Zoomed it for better resolution.
  • Marked two points at the bottom of the frame, one by bush in front of the axles, the other at the rear, just behind the small slide.
  • Told the photo editor to rotate the photo until the line defined by those two points was level (parallel to photo frame).
  • Drew a level (parallel to photo frame) red line just above the slide.
My conclusions:
  1. The slide is properly oriented with respect to the trailer.
  2. One optical illusion is caused by the trailer roofline.
  3. The other optical illusion is caused because the photographer did not hold the camera level.

It is an illusion. The roof has a camber to it.

Ok, thanks for the perspective! Appreciate that, maybe I can calm down a little bit!!!

Heck if I get set up that close I'm good. Measure once and forget it.

So you replicated the ruler measurement and reached the same conclusion!
I applaud your diligence.

I would measure the distance between the rear slide and the slide in question. Measure the top distance and bottom distance. I'm sure you will find that they are the same measurements.
