East to West Della Terra 291RK
Hey Everyone! We are considering the 2020 East to West Della Terra 291RK as temporary housing so we can live on my in-laws property while we look for a house (versus wasting money on rent). I haven't been able to find a ton of information on this particular line but this floor plan works great for us and we were able to find it at a price we're comfortable with for brand-new. My husband didn't want to buy brand-new as he's concerned about resale value, since we don't intend to keep it long-term.
I'm also getting mixed information about whether we would be able to use our king sized bed mattress (I know it's slightly larger than what would be in the RV), as we spent a good amount of money on it and both have back issues so would prefer to use it if possible. Has anyone been able to use a residential king, even if it was a bit longer or wider than what comes with the RV?
Our final concern is the overall insulation and ability to keep the unit warm (68-70 degrees in the winter) and cool (70-72) in the Summer. One person told me it was a "Four Seasons" camper, but another told me they wouldn't recommended for sub freezing temperatures. This particular model does not have a fireplace, so just curious if anyone can comment on how well it stays heated and cooled throughout the seasons? We will be in Southern Kentucky, so a relatively moderate temperature (less hot/humid than where we are now in NC). Thank You in advance for any feedback you can provide!
