270rtkx motorcycle worries

I just picked up my new 270 and worried now that my Roadglide will high center on the transition from ramp to trailer. Anyone have any experience of this happening or pointers on option to fox if it has?

The only quick fix to lessen the crest of the ramp is to get the tongue of the trailer higher.
See if there’s a small crest (like this ^) nearby, where the trailer would be on the left side of the crest, and the truck is on the right side. The floor of the trailer will be sloped, but it’s the only way to make the ramp less steep for you to bring your bike into the toy hauler.

Raise the front of the trailer as high as possible, then check the clearance. Adding blocks helps get the front higher.
Some people add another section to the ramp, some people purchase a portable 12’ ramp.

If you do as described above here…….be sure to “chock” the trailer tires to prevent a runaway trailer.

Yea I guess I could just bring blocks with me to put under the tongue jack to crank it way high when loading amd unloading. It’s only when I’m when I’m packing up to leave I won’t be loading and unloading bike daily.

I have to raise the tongue to get my Street Glide Special in the trailer.

I carry extra stacking blocks for my leveling system. There light and stacks nice.

As said above, always chock your wheels first before disconnecting from truck.

No problem getting my 11 street glide in my 260. I try to find a low spot in the pavement and park the trailer with the axles in it. Or put a 6x6 under the tongue jack and raise it up with the truck still connected. Makes a big difference.

On my old toyhauler, I ran the truck rear wheels up on ramps to lower the rear of the trailer a few inches. Never bottomed out my Indian.

What about putting Anderson levelers under the truck tires?
