Backup/Security Camera Recommendation - 181RT

Hi guys, complete noob here to RVing and l99king for some help regarding backup cameras

I have a 2021 forest river by salam 181RT that is prewired for a backup camera but i am not sure which one to get - do you guys have any recommendations? The dealer wanted $500 for one but i cannot imagine a single camera costing that much!! Or maybe enlighten me

Also i might be a complete weirdo here but does anyone have any experience on installing cameras on the sides of the trailer for security purposes? If yes what did you use?

Furrion or Haloview seem to be the two most popular. I personally have the Furrion but caught it on sale during the FROG rally last year.

That $500 is not just for the camera but the monitor and accessories. But that's still too much.
Many RVers choose the Haloview over the more expensive Furrion and are happy with it.

Hey there. Were going with the halo view for ours. I’ve heard great things. It’s around $260 or so on Amazon for the camera and monitor. They also have jumped on the fur ion train and now offer marker light cameras as well.
