Generator transfer switch location

Anyone know where forest river hid the generator transfer switch on my 2023 Entrada 2200s as I cannot get power from the generator into the motorhome.

Thanks in advance.

Goofy question, but are you sure it has one? My rig doesn't - it has a separate 30 amp receptacle in the bay where the power cord is stored.

You choose your power source - pedestal or generator and plug in accordingly.

More of a Manual Transfer Switch as it were.

I had the same setup in our Georgetown with a 6500 watt Generac.
Move the plug from campground pedestal to the outlet in the bay. If/when you need power…..just start the genny. Move it from the genny plug to the pedestal at the campground.

Pretty sure it has one as I got a brochure on it in all my paper work.
Also my power cord is separate and connects from out side of rv to a power source.

Did you check the circuit breaker on the generator.

Did you look carefully inside every exterior cargo box? Look up high on the walls of even the ceiling?

And check what Twinboat said.

Yep, Checked all breakers and nothing in outside storage or under bed. Sure would be nice if forest river would supply a location layout of the hidden items.
Will check under dinette seats tomorrow.

This is a dumb question.... what happens when you prime the generator using the switch and then try to start the generator? Does it attempt to start? You need to have at least 1/4 to 1/3 tank of gas to operate it. You also need to have charged house batteries for it to start. If you already know all this, I apologize.

One thing to try is to connect the 'emergency start' switch and then try the generator. If it's the house batteries, sometimes that will start the generator.

As Twinboat suggested, you may need to crawl under the rig and check the circuit breaker on the generator as well as checking the fuses and circuit breakers in the power panel.

Yep was a dumb question as I did not say the generator would not run. It starts and runs just fine, just does not send power to the MH which has to go through the Transfer Switch.

i have no idea of your layout or where the ATS might be located. hopefully it will be located near the generator. there will be an output cable coming out of the generator that will go to the ATS. is there any way you can trace that cable?

Found It.

Transfer switch is located under stove top, behind bottom drawer. Thanks for all your comments.

Glad you found it. Now let us know what the remedy is for your power not transferring from shore to generator.

Sorry for the dumb question, but thank you for answering it.

Thanks for sharing where you found it. It may help someone else in the future. They don't make finding these things easy.

Please let us know if replacing that solves your problem.

We've been watching Hurricane Milton's progress from our home in Houston with increasing apprehension for Florida residents. We hope everyone in the evacuation area gets out soon as it's speeding up.
You're in our prayers.
