12 volt interior lighting issue

Where is the fuse location for 12 volt lighting? Our slide out and oven hood light and exhaust fan just stopped working.

What model camper do you have?
Are you plugged into shore power or on battery?
All the fuses are normally at the converter panel.
Is anything 12 volt working?

Have you checked your fuse panel?

2018 Salem Hemisphere 27. We are on shore power. The 12 volts power in both slide outs do not work. The microwave and outlets still work on the slide outs. There is 2 fuses next to our converter panel. I don’t know where any other fuse panel would be.

The microwave and outlets are 120 volt AC.
Sounds like a converter issue, check the fuses in the panel. You may have to push on the spring loaded door to see all the fuses.

They look something like this depending on what type you have. You "push" on the door and the fuses are behind it. The converter is usually in the back. Make sure you know what you are doing as there is 120 volt AC power in there!

There may be breaker switches as well as fuses. The breakers are for your 120 Volt AC,
the fuses are for your 12 Volt DC.
There should be a list on the inside of the door or maybe next to the fuses to tell you which circuits are on that fuse. BUT not all circuits are marked as one fuse may go to several tihngs.

Also, do you have 50 amp service? Are you plugged into 50 amp at the campground pedestal? If so one "leg" may be out. Ask the campground host or manager.

In regards to your "Hood Light and Exhaust Fan"-ONLY! If your Microwave is above your Hood, you may have a have a 12V fuse under your Microwave, the Microwave will need to be pulled out for Fuse replacement! I am just the Messenger NOT the Designer! Youroo!!

Sounds like 12v items aren't working.
Could be the 12v resettable circuit breaker along the A-frame that's tripped.
Need to push the tiny black reset button.
Was the 12v stuff working before you left?

Hector Hemisphere,
you were having trouble with your kitchen outlets not working about a week ago when you were plugged into your house and using dogbone connectors to get power to your unit.
Did you ever figure that out? Could it be possible when you were having trouble with your shore power at that time that something happened to your converter?

Make sure the battery cutoff switch is not engaged. Sometimes the converter does not provide enough amps to run the slide out motors and the battery provides the needed boost.
