2013 M26TBUD main 30 amp power cable replacement

I recently purchased a 2013 model Salem M26TBUD and there is a splice in the main 30 amp power cable. I purchased another new cable but am not sure where the house end of the cable runs from inside the trailer?
Trailer didn’t have an owners manual and i haven’t had any luck locating it online.

My last camper was a Prowler and it ran from under the sink area in the rear of the trailer. Not sure about this one?
Thank you

Welcome to the forum it's a great place to get your questions answered. If you find your converter/distribution panel that is where the end of your cable should be attached you will have to pull out the converter to get at the attachment points.

Alright. Thank you sir! I’ll dig around online a bit more and see if I can find something to lead me in the right direction.

I think SeaDog has led you in the right direction.

Whneth350... I see you have 3 posts, all in this thread.

Mr. Dan nor Sea Dog were being smart asses and are two of this forums better contributors.

If you want to participate on an internet forum, you need to take a breath before posting nonsense.

You received a good suggestion and someone else simply verified that is likely the direction to look.

I hope you can enjoy the rest of your day. You haven't seemed to so far.

What a terrific forum!
Ask a simple question and get an obvious response. Pretty sure I knew to look for the converter box. I appreciated it though. He was nice enough to respond and I thanked him.

Then get someone taking their time to try and get cute.
And still no answer if anyone knows WHERE the box may be located.
That’s okay. I’ll find it. Not a big deal. Working out of town and thought I’d use this app as a way to get useful information. See that’s not going to happen.
Thanks for being the moderator. I feel much safer knowing you’re out there. And my day is just fine, since you also seem worried about that. [emoji869]

Which direction is that?
Front, rear, under counter, under dinette, bear breaker box, under rear sink?

So sorry to upset. You said you wanted to know “where the house end of the cable runs from inside the trailer”. We had no idea you were asking “where is my converter box?” Again - sorry for trying to answer the wrong question.

We're just trying to help. No malice nor smart aleck-ness was meant by anybody. When somebody posts something that you take the wrong way, sometimes you just need to say thanks and wait a while for somebody else to come along with a little more info.

By the way, your power center is under the pantry beside the fridge. Does that narrow it down a little better for you?

My apologies for taking your response in the wrong manner. I obviously interpreted your response in the wrong manner.

I agree with your advice. Should have waited.

That being said, my post has been on here for a bit with no responses.
Even though I responded inappropriately, it HAS gotten some attention now. Just about like any ‘social’ outlet these days.

And yes it does help! You have pinpointed it. Thank you very much. And i appreciate the fact that you were so happy to be correct that you got a little snarky! [emoji1319]
You sir, have a great day. And thanks again Bama.

Oh, and.....
