We bought one this year for about 1k more. But the dealer didn't upcharge us for anything. We have been out camping three times and just got back from Myrtle Beach and it performed just awesome. Have fun with your trailer.

You did great. If you are happy then it didn't matter how much it costs. Enjoy.

Thanks for the replies! I am a tight wad, so I like to try to find the best deal. I know the family is really excited. We are upgrading from a smaller popup. We get to take possession next Wednesday.

I actually posted the wrong year. It is a 2014. I guess the deal just got a little better.

Good, solid deal. We paid about the same for our 2012 26TBUD from a local dealer. Very nice camper and layout. Lots of room for a shorter camper with that super slide.

The hitch price is high but I assume that is installed. You can buy that hitch online from several places for around $450 shipped plus a hitch ball and install it yourself. If you just want to show up and go that is a nice deal for everything.

What brake controller is that quote for? They make many. I'd at least get something along the lines of the Tekonsha P3.

Remember a good deal is a deal you are happy with. Doesn't matter what anyone else pays. As long as you are happy, that's all that matters. Enjoy.

You are correct! I am soooooo happy with it so far. I can't wait to get it on the road. Looks like the first weekend I am going to be free is the week of July 4th!

Paid 20K for my 2013 TBUD-G in May of 2013. The "G" means it has the garage at the back which is just a big storage closet accessed from the rear. That adds about 2 feet to the overall length and also some weight. Also, it comes with 5000# axles so my cargo capacity is a ridiculous 4700#. I mention all this because that undoubtedly added to the price.

When I was looking on the lot I saw the triple bunk model and I think it was about 1K more than you paid so I think you did well. Also, I got them to throw in the WDH and anti-sway. I'd say you're definitely in the ballpark, leaning towards a great deal.

As for the trailer it's been an overall great year with it. Nothing too major. My water heater electric thermostat went out and there were a couple non-working lights (we missed it at the PDI)... and one window shade was too short (also missed at delivery). I love the huge slide, U-shape dinette and spin around TV... and of course my garage at the back

For weight mine rolls down the road loaded with an average amount of stuff at about 7500-8000#. As best I can tell I have about 1100 on the tongue and the TT axles usually weigh about 6500-6600. I'm towing in a 2500 Duramax so I'm not too worried about the weights but I do keep an eye on it.

Assuming yours doesn't have the garage and the HD axles like mine I'd think your overall weight should be +/- 1000# less... maybe more. I capable 1/2 will do but do keep somewhat of an eye on your weights. Also, maybe think about getting some LT tires and maybe airbags if it's close at all. Probably not necessary but I tend to over do things.

Have fun

Tbud and Ecoboost

I am pulling our Tbud with a quad cab Ecoboost. We did get the max tow package on the truck. We haven't had any issues pulling with it. The six speed transmission makes it much more enjoyable than pulling with an older 4 speed auto trans. No more downshifting and hunting for gears. The turbo rolls in at 1700 RPM and stops pulling when you let up on the accelerator - go as fast or as slow as you want. Enjoy.
