2015 Cruise Lite 261BHXL - should I buy?

I am thinking about purchasing a 2015 Cruise Lite 261BHXL that has been used 2x. Everything is in like new condition. Seller is asking $11K, which is a little less than nada book value with the features. Does that sound about right? All systems check out fine and there are no visible signs of leaks. It has been stored out of the weather. Anything specific with this model/year that I should check? We are upgrading from an 08 Salem LE 19BH. It sucks that the gray water tank is only 28G. My 08 is 32G! Other than that it fits our needs (I have 3 boys) and budget.

If it fits your family and appears okay then I'd jump on a good deal. There's going to be a group on here that say you should buy new from a dealer, which I just don't understand. I bought pre-owned from an individual and it's been great plus I saved thousands. Finding a pre-owned that works for you is very difficult.
A small portable tote tank could solve your gray water tank size concern.
I see you're in TN, as am I. Where do you camp?

We've camped at Montgomery Bell and Fall Creek Falls. Just got back from Petit Jean State Park in AR. That's our new favorite. Missed out on this camper. It sold while I was deliberating. Oh well!

Sounds like a good price to me. I bought my 2016 brand new for a lot more than that and it was stored at the dealer out in the weather...

I love the 261BHXL. Sure, more space is always nicer, but not having to think about slides, leaking, breaking, and the extra weight to tow.... meh. We have 2 boys and find it to be plenty of space and very comfortable.

No regrets with it at all and $11k seems like a very fair price. I'm sure you can negotiate it down slightly too.

We bought the version with the slide and we love it. If you don't want a slide, you will like a 261BHXL. You should be able to find another. I highly recommend the 262BHXL if you want more space.
