Which are you talking about, the FW tank or the water heater tank?

Go out to the outside WH access hatch and look inside.
There should be an inside panel door directly opposite that you can remove from the inside.
Probably screwed in.

From looking at other models like yours, it appears that the access panel to the water heater is located below the refrigerator. Take off the vented panel and you should be able to see your WH.

Thank you guys. I really appreciate it. It'll be my weekend project. It kind of pisses me off, I bought this thing brand new, paid a lot of money for it. You would think they would have a unit specific manual for it, because the one that comes with is worthless.

I hear ya!!!! We all share your pain! The manuals are quite useless.
Thank goodness for this Forum and the many contributors. Makes RV / Camping life somewhat easier.
Once you do your first winterization, all others will come easy. Congrats on your new camper. Enjoy.....

Unfortunately generic owners manuals are a RV Industry standard. It's been that way for quite a few years.

Only a handful of manufacturers provide a model-specific manual.

Howdy FZ1Rider1, and welcome aboard.

The below is a copy and paste, and I usually recommend it to those just starting out. Some of it, you may already know, or may not be applicable to your particular RV. You will be able to filter out what pertains to your situation or not. I would suggest you read the electric threads and energy management first, and then the converter thread. This will help explain your different electrical systems of your RV, and how they operate...as well as what the converter does. The very first link will explain what operates off what system.

You can just peruse at your leisure:

Wiring a 30 amp outlet. Make sure you or your electrician know that this is a 120 volt outlet ONLY:

Basic electric:

RV Electric

Your very important converter:

Suburban water heater (if applicable to your RV):

Water Heater bypass/crossover valves:

And the newest additions to help understand what constitutes a true full cylinder in refilling vs exchanging propane cylinders... as well as how the automatic propane regulator works:

Hope this helps

Salem Water Tank

My husband just winterized our Salem 31KQBTS yesterday and had same question! Unfortunately no owners manual and everything online was very generic. He found it under the refrigerator after taking off the piece that was screwed in. Of course the area is really small (we had a StarCraft previously where it was located directly under sink area and very easy to get to). He also realized it did not include the plastic hose attachment (which our starcraft had). Not sure why Forest River cuts corners like that and doesn't automatically equip all trailers with that piece since it is under $25. So you will need to go and get a winterization kit and install that. After several unnecessary hours of searching the internet, making calls to our dealer and Forest River directly, we finally had the trailer winterized. Good luck.

Thank you DeborahL24
I found the water pump already, it was under the sink and the sliding droors. Installed the winterization kit to the pump.
So all I needed is to find the back of the water heater and the bypass valve. So I'm gonna fallow your advice and look under the fridge.
Thanks again.
