Going to winterize this weekend. On my old trailer I had a setup to bypass the water pump from the fresh water tank and pump pink stuff through the lines. Typically Iíd blow the lines out with air and pump pink in.

I feel like my old method may have been overkill. Plus this one doesnít have that option to bypass the fresh water tank.

So Iím looking for a new method. Maybe just blowing the lines out and pouring pink in the traps and black tank/toilet will be sufficient?

I also am not sure about how to place the valves near the hw tank for this.

After the last trip I dumped the hw tank, pulled the low point drains, and opened the fresh water tank valve on the way home to get as much out as I could.

Thoughts? Suggestions? A guide of some sort?

Thanks in advance!

Most newer rigs are fitted with a antifreeze pickup to the pump do some checking if you don't have it they are easy to add. Check your HWT for bypass valves.

Ah yes, I found it under the bathroom sink. Itís nice they added that. I found the bypass valves by the hw tank. I was expecting 3 but only found two but seemed to work the same none the less.
