2020 Salem Hemisphere 25rbhl hot water bypass location?
So just got the rig a month or so ago, and I keep forgetting to ask where this is at.
The hw tank location is in the back corner of the coach near the shower in the bathroom. There is a spot on the cabinets behind the shower that is screwed on, but they didn’t give me the proper square tool to pull the screws to look back there. Of course this is a deep cabinet, at least 3 feet if not a little more, and the opening is about 10 inches by 6 inches.
I’m hoping it’s under the sink in the bathroom, but again I can’t pull the panel to look.
Anyone have this model and know where it’s located?

It will be behind the hot water tank so yes you need to pull that panel off. Any tool store sells small assortment of driver bits and will have the square bit you need. If you have driver drill you might already have it

Ok that’s what I thought. Once you get the panel off is it close to it or do you have to get stretch Armstrong to reach In there and turn it off lol??

Ok cool, thanks for the help! If I see anything different I’ll report back so others know as well.

By "square tool", does the OP mean a Robertson screwdriver? Or is there a different fastener? Some of them will also take a Phillip's.
On our new unit, I took a sharpie to the inside of the cover and drew the orientation of the valves in normal and bypass modes. Otherwise I can see myself forgetting in a year or two.

The OP should realize that EVERYTHING in the trailer is put together with screws that accept a #2 Robertson bit. You can buy Robertson screwdrivers but it's easier to just get Robertson bit that fit a screwdriver that accepts hex bits.

Thanks, I got it. I actually think that I have the bits in a set somewhere. My last trailer they gave me 3 different size bits with the trailer. So, like any decent seller, I included them for the next guy. This one came with one bit, but it’s too big for ...well any screw I’ve found on the trailer.

On the side of the hex bit, it will probably be stamped "R3." Of course, what you want is "R2."

I was able to pull the panel this weekend and found everything! It’s actually really close so should be easy to work with.
