2021 Salem 29VBUD - First trip ... Water leak/blow out
So trailer went through the normal dealer checks... and then when we had it at home we checked our selves and no problems came up.
2nd day on the trip, I was making coffee in the morning and thought the fan on the power center was loader than normal... Found a puddle of water on the floor in front of it ... Realized that the water in was in the back of the cabinet so I (literally) jumped out the loading door in the back and turned off the water and disconnected the hose.
Pulled the power center and found that the hose (poly with thread head on 1 end and crimped on tee) had a hole in it. Once removed from the trailer looks like they shoved it in from the in water inlet and caught the metal siding on the way in breaking the outer covering of the hose... We have only used the water inlet with a pressure regulator. I have repaired the host with a mended and clamps for time being.
Should I bother with taking it back in for repairs (assuming that their warranty would cover that)?
Or do I just do what I want and replace all of that cheap hose with stainless steel braided line and redo the tee so no crimped ends?
Did not take a picture of the break, kind of was wrapped up in getting the trailer back in operational status.
