27 dbud 2014
We take delivery on Monday. Is there anything I should watch out for during the walk through? I have seen a lot of people post about kinked hoses and loose water connections.

Not to muddy the water, but here's another PDI Checklist (and one that I've followed twice now):

RV Inspection Checklist
Make sure they don't rush you through the PDI. Take the time and ask again if not explained properly. Have a good one.

From my experience with our 2014 DBUD I would ask to see the water lines coming from the fresh water tank and city inlet just to make sure they weren't kinked like ours were and see if the person doing the walk through will dump about a gallon of water in the sinks and tub to make sure there are no leaks at the pee trap connections. Our kitchen sink pee trap leaked at the connection and had to be replaced before our first trip this week. Also discovered a leak in the gray water tank plumbing which I sealed with PVC glue. Had a small tear in the awning seam also which went unnoticed during our walk through but it is going to be replaced in the next 2 weeks under warranty. Our dealer is 90 miles away and it was more cost effective for me to do the simple repairs myself with inexpensive parts from the hardware store instead of taking it to the dealer for them to fix. Aside from the trivial things I listed we really like our 14 DBUD and my advice would be to do a thorough walk through to help find any flaws in your new travel trailer. Good luck and enjoy your new unit

One other thing to look for is make sure all four stereo speakers in the ceiling are working properly, ours weren't and it was something we overlooked in the walk through. Sometimes I think our DBUD was built early on a Monday morning LOL

How did it go? We were really lucky with ours and there were no defects that I had to go back for. Minor this and that's, I just fixed those but overall a great camper that we love 1 year in. I really like so,e of the changes they made for Ty with the extra cabinet , full size top bunk and shoe storage.. Made me jealous to trade the 13 in.... Not jealous enough though. :-)

Looking for a tv to fit in the swivel cabinet, what did everyone else get to fit in there, and if you have a pic of it. I have heard 26", that size is hard to find locally.

I put a 26 in mine, found it on walmart as a refurb with a DVD for like 149. I have heard of a 32 with a slim surround fitting but I just wanted a decent size tv,, bought a cheap articulating mount with a long arm off the web so I can pull the tv way out and offset it to the left so the bunks have a good view. Works for us.
