Question 27REIS Slide-out crank tool?

Does Forest River supply a manual crank tool for the slide-outs in the event of power failure? I haven't located one in my 27REIS.

There are two (one for the slide & one for the landing gear) hanging on the back wall of the pass-thru in our unit. Not sure about your particular model.

The only tool I've located is for the tongue jack. My stabilizers are motorized. I haven't found a tool for the stabilizers either.

My stabilizers require a 3/4" socket which happens to be the same as one of the other items. However, I carry a battery powered impact and a set of sockets that I use on about everything that has a hex head.

Mine came with them, but I'll add, make sure they fit the coupling. You might just find a burr or the likes that needs to come off and it will be so much easier to take care of at home than when the need arises to use them

Slide Crank Tool

My FR Wildwood came with a tool to manually move the slide in and out, as well as one to raise and lower the electric jacks. They are mounted in the front storage box.

My new 27 RLSS did not have one. When I inquired they offered to get one from their supply store. I opted instead to go remove the one from the trailer I had just traded in as mine had a longer handle, just like the picture fonzie posted above. My original trailer also came without one so I had to order it. The same one is used for stabilizer and slideout.
The fitting on my slideout has a hole for a cross pin to work with the tool, but no cross pin. I will have to fashion one.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm guessing mine doesn't come with one as I have searched every nook and cranny and no tool. Hopefully I'll never need it but I'll find one to purchase just in case!

In the meantime you probably could use a variable speed/forward/reverse battery operated drill to operate slide if the manual shaft is accessible.....I.m going on the assumption that you have electric under floor slide mechanism as below

I have a 21fbrs Flagstaff and I do have a tool that looks like this one. The question is where does it go to manually slide. Does the round end over the shaft on the outside of the motor under the sofa? This all came up after I experienced a quarter inch shaft Bolt that had sheared when the slide out was out. I replaced the bolt but the question would be with the bolt sheared the slide out wanted to come out of the trailer in transit. Is there any way of securing the slide out in the trailer you're in transit?
