2nd time around

Hi,

My family is getting back into the camping life after a 7 year absence. Before we didn't do much but had a trailer.

Anyway being 'almost' new again to this just have a few questions.

Where is the best place on-line to buy repair items. We purchased a 03 Forest River Salem LE Travel Trailer 26bhss and being used has some items we are going to fix.

1. Awning, arms and all hardware. Also is this a self install project or do I need to take it to the local dealer?
2. General camper items, door holder, light bulbs

Thanks in advance and I look forward to learning from everyone on the forum.

Welcome to the forum.

If your mechanically inclined the awning isn't bad .
But requires more than one person and spring inside awning is under high tension.

Hello, and to the forums. Hope you enjoy the stay, and learn a lot, and can teach others what you already know.

As for the awning, you will need friends. Not that big of a job, but will need help, two ladders or more, and some hand tools. As for camping items, can't beat the selection usually at Camping World. Local Wal Mart may have some stuff. !2 volt light bulbs at automotive store, or Wal Mart auto section. Good luck, and hope you enjoy.

Welcome to the Forums!
Ditto on the Camping World suggestion. They carry all sort of RV & camping items.
